Default Zen Mosaic white lines on screen

Hi, Can anyone help i have an elderly but much loved Mosaic which i listen to daily whilst working . 4 days ago i noticed horizontal white lines appearing on the bottom of the screen everytime i turn it off and on more lines appear gradually obscuring the screen . Within 4 days the screen is now covered in them i can no longer see the writing but it still works on the buttons i just cant see what im doing . I love this machine and its served me well is their a way to fix it ???? Have tried reset button and Firmware upgrade no difference .

The screen on the Mozaic is a OLED. What you describe seems to fit how that type screen fails according to the wiki article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OLED#Disadvantages. If that's the case it doesn't seem there's anything can be done.

Even if you can find someone to replace the screen, chances are that the service would cost almost as much or more than the worth of the player. Just get another player and be done with it, or put up with the current issue.
