Default Head Phones for a Metal Detector

Hi Everyone,

I looking for a really nice set of headphones to be used for a metal detector. The ones I have now simply are not doing the job even though they were made for that purpose. The problem is I suffer from a pretty bad hearing loss. Have had it since birth. Am hoping to find something that has excellent quality sound with volume control, preferably on both ears. My loss is largely a high frequency one so I would like to find something that has good bass. I am trying to get the audio specs but it may take some time.
I used to have a pair of Koss TD-81's and a pair of KW-100's. Both were really great but have not been in production for a long time so I am at a loss as what to get. Looking for full sized, closed style headphones. Would be willing to go up to $200.00, maybe a little more.

Am hoping some audiophiles can make some recommendations.
