Default Question about Z2 SD card

My Z2 will arrive in a few days. Thank you to everyone posting here, you helped make my choice for a new PMP much easier.

Every spec list I've read for the Z2 says it can take micro SD cards up to 32gb. However, I've read several reviews and posts that say you can use a 64gb card. Is it just a matter of formatting the card as NTFS that will allow the use of a bigger card or is there something else you have to do to be able to use it?

Also, there are several kinds of SD cards: SD, SDHC, SDXC with different "classes". Does it matter which one you get?

Thank you!

64GB cards and above are the only SDXC ones. I have a z2 with a sandisk 64GB card inside. When you first get your card just put in in the Z2. It will ask you to format it (it says its damaged). Format it in the Z2 and it should work. You can then transfer media to it by just connecting the Z2 to a pc.

I can confirm that it works in mine too, but the filesystem is FAT32. Every now and then Android complains that the SD card is damaged, but pulling it out and putting it back in seems to fix the problem.

Thanks for the replies. I'm loving my Z2. I used several posts here to get it up and running and I'm good now. Very happy with my purchase.
