Hello, I am using a Samsung Galaxy 4.2 Player.
On the PC, I can create a new document with Google Docs, copy an url from the browser address bar and paste it into the document. When I press return, the url becomes a hyperlink. Switching over to Android, the Google Docs app doesn't have this functionality. I have tried different free word processor apps but none of them has been able to do the job. Can anybody give me a clue on how to achieve this without using the desktop PC please? Thanks Ottavio |

I'm afraid it's not possible to add a hyperlink from the Google Drive app on Android as of now. It can follow links made from the web, but I cannot find any options to make one in the app. But you already noticed that.
As for other apps which could achieve this I'm not sure, I was going to try some app I thought came with my SGS3, but apparently I didn't have it, and I don't remember the name.

Shame. The only work around I've found is to share the link from the Samsung to Gmail, then the day later open Gmail, copy the link and manually update the document.
