I've listened to The Album a couple of times, trying my best to enjoy it without prejudice, but for the life of my...I can't stand Abba. I enjoy a fair amount of sissy-ish pop music, but Abba's just a little too much for me.

I never owned any of ABBA's albums but most of their songs always put me in a good mood.

As for my all time favorite album? That depends on my mood. One day it could be Radiohead's OK computer, and the following day it could be any album by Led Zeppelin, the Who, or Dream Theater. I have no clear cut answer for this.

I like the Beatles, and have had all their US albums on CD for over 20 years. Of all the Beatles albums, Rubber Soul is one of my least favorites. My favorite Batles albums are the later ones, especially Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour.

My favorite album is Tom Petty Full Moon fever.

We should start a new thread asking for the favorite 10 albums.

Bat Out of Hell is very good, however the original CD is very noisy. I bought the remaster and got rid of the original CD. The remaster sounds so much better.

You, sir, are boring and most likely can't dance!!! I own the floor,...when I'm not rocking a cane,...

Now, I also like the Pet Shop Boys. Any more comments?

From what I am seeing, Jellybeans's version came out in 1984, about 12 years later. I have Ruth's version on vinyl. and there is a part 2 to this song. Regardless which version came out, this song brings back serious memories!

EDIT: Ruth's version came out first:

Ok, Kool!!! I didn't know that,...I'm liking what I hear all the same. Jellybean's version is the freestyle dance version,...the one you posted is closer to the original.

Your link to it was down: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mexican_(song)

I've been listening to nothing but Rush for the past few weeks, and my new favourite album is Moving Pictures.

That is an excellent album.

I just preordered the upcoming CD from Depeche Mode,...Delta Machine. Lets see if it makes my favorites list. DM hasn't been a favorite with their new stuff for the last few albums. Playing The Angel and Songs Of The Universe are a set in the right direction, but NOT personal faves of mine.

Excellent band. I don't really understand why people either love or hate them though.
