Great!!! That means a Cowon is an even better choice than I'd thought. So more than 1 playlist can be created? And can these playlists be synced over to the comp as well?

I see I'll have to get a little quality time in tonight with my X9 now,...

Woah wait... i think we got our wires a bit crossed.
I thought u meant u could only add one song at a time to a playlist, i was saying u can add entire folders and subfolders on the fly as long as u add via [Folders] rather than Artist or Album etc. The max 'playlist' (is 1) for number of files for this is 256 (in this playlist)
There is only ONE on the fly playlist, want a new playlist.. delete the old, and no saving of playlists (it calls them favourites) that i have found yet.

BUT.. on le pc i can create as many playlists as i like using winamp and my c2 and it plays them all... (at least im sure it can... might have to dbl check that... bruce going crazy n'shit, might be getting sansa and cowon confused... senior member my ass, senior mentally for sure).

Bruce, you definitely got confused there. I was saying what you just realized. And yes, I have about 30 computer created playlists on the X9 right now.

I got 16 hours with my Clip V2 verses 10.5 with the Clip+ both running the OF and LAME -v2. I have no idea why they're so different, its the same hardware in both and battery life in rockbox is great with both.

Playlists transfer just fine. Like I said, I have about 30 on my Cowon X9.

The C2, D2, D2+, i9, S9, J3, O2, and X9 all do playlists the same. I've owned all but the C2,...respect my authoritah!!!


I kinda know what they can & can't do. So The exception would be the Android models,...and they suck so I'll PASS!!!
