I doubt it. The warranty covers defects in manufacture not user damage.

Thanks to zP0kE for the great solution.
I used J-B Weld to adhere an Acco Klix to my Clip (still going strong!) last night and it works great. I had to remove the metal clip ring that held the old belt clip, and I shaved that half-circle of plastic flat first. Positioned where the bottom of the Klix catches near the middle of the Clip, it fits perfectly through the silicone cases I use.

Thanks also to mattbatt for the magnet idea. If the clip doesn't hold, I may give this a try.

Does anyone know where to find the Acco Klix clips? They don't seem to be sold anywhere anymore, other than in a huge cost prohibitive packs.

Thanks for the reply. The Staples link doesn't work for me, and they've been out of stock at office depot since I've started looking The hunt continues

Had been at Staples earlier this month, now no longer listed. Odd, looks like these generally are out of stock all over . . . .
