Default please help me with a creative Zen Nano Plus, "File System Error"

I have a creative Zen Nano Plus that I love I sue it all the time. I even have kept an XP machine just for it.

I turned it on this afternoon and it says File System Error and turns off.

Can anyone please help me save it?

I have a Zen Nano Plus and there is no reset button under the power button this is a 1gb and I have had it for like 4years now.

You don't need the reset button to access Recovery Mode.

And yes I know the link I gave isn't for your exact model but it works about the same for all Zens; hold some button (usually the Play-button) while powering on. If that doesn't work then maybe someone else knows the exact procedure. Anyway the options in the Recovery Mode is what you want to try to get your player working again.

EDIT:
I just found that there is no Recovery Mode on the Zen Nano Plus. Sorry for suggesting that. Instead, the advice seems to be to format it through Windows, which I think has a fair chance of fixing file system errors.

Default update

I got it to format and now it will not show as a device so that I can add files to it. I am all over the creative site looking for answers.

If you have any ideas please let me know...and thanks for the help thus far.

Did you format it as FAT? After formatting it with the pc as FAT, disconnect it, and format it again, this time using the player's menu.
