![]() The new Nokia Lumia 920 is, apparently, very popular on Amazon. So much so, in fact, that the Lumia 920, its predecessor the Lumia 900, and the Samsung Focus S Windows Phones currently hold seven of the top ten spots on Amazon’s bestseller chart for smartphones with a service plan. Running Windows Phone 8, the Lumia 920 offers wireless charging, a top-of-the-line PureView camera, a super-sensitive touchscreen, and much more. Amazon has also decided to undercut AT&T’s standard pricing, offering the device for just $69.99 with a standard two-year contract. More surprising, however, is the placement of the Lumia 900. It’s an excellent device in its own right and it was released just six months ago, but it’s running Windows Phone 7, not the newly-released Windows Phone 8. Which Windows Phone is your current favorite? Is it the obviously popular Lumia 920, the beautiful Windows Phone 8X by HTC, or another device? [Amazon via Ben Rudolph on Twitter]

Are we talking about the same Amazon?
http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers-C...ess/2407747011 Windows 8 phone has its merit but people tried to "prove" how popular Windows phone 7 phones were with it being on top of Amazon charts under certain weird categories and we all know that WP 7 success was very modest at best. Though it will be interesting to see if Microsoft keeps pushing the tiles hard with wp9 as even with the desk top front, people arn't embarrassing the the metro UI so quickly. If they "tone down" the tile interface exactly how would they do it? This is kind of a random question but does Windows phone 8 have USB on the Go capabilities (the ability to plug in flash drives, keyboards, game controllers, etc.)? Just curious because I haven't seen reviews demonstrating it with Windows phone and plug and go features of the desktop OS has been a strong point for Microsoft imo. |

Yeah, same amazon, just 2 different categories, best rated and best sellers. Meaning even though Windows Phone 7 isn't selling as well as the competition the people that do buy them are happier with their purchases.
