I do like some of their products, but some of their practices are ludicrous.....I wonder if somebody got paid off?

Oh yeah, I've seen it. The headphone-out will be good enough, even with sensitive IEM's, that most people won't bother with amping, especially given the connector-adapter thing you'd need to amp.

I never used the LO on the 4th-gen Touch that you now have...I always liked how it sounded just fine with the HO. I could do the same with the Classic if only it had a separate volume control....lol. But it's just as well...I use that as my "desktop" setup with the E11 because the onboard sound of my computer isn't any good.
