Default New Zen Nano Plus Owner - recording questions

I just bought a Nano Plus to try. It has FM Recording. Yay!

Is there any way to set the FM record bitrate?

Why does it date files 1-1-2004?

I have twice set the Nano to record (from both line-in and FM) and it seems to shutoff after 3-5 hours of recording with a good battery indication. Is there some setting I should change? I want to record about 10+ hours at a time.

Thanks!

Im not sure about the bitrate setting with the Nano.

As for the date, Is their a setting to have the current date and time on the player? If so, that's why its giving you that record date.

No date/time setting screen that I can find on the player or manual. The date seems to reset everytime the battery changes since each new file is dated 1-1-04.

Reagrding the recording duration, it seems to be at ~130 MB where it stops. Is this some sort of player imposed max file size?

If this behavior keeps up, I'll just return it and use my "cheapie" Transcend T.Sonic 520 2GB. A shame since I got the Nano+ for only $47 after rebate.
