Disney has bought Lucasfilm and now owns Star Wars. Disney also announced that Episode 7 will be released in 2015.

No franchise left unmilked. I wonder if the straight to video will start at episode 10.
Also wonder when the first 6 go in "the vault" (A practice I feel should be grounds for immediate copyright dissolution).

This seems like a win for all. Disney seems to be doing very well with their purchases of Pixar and Marvel. Disney can cash in on these franchises via films, television, theme parks, video games and licensed merchandise. They will revitalize the Star Wars franchise. It seems like a good move for Lucas to sell, not just for the huge profits, but to see Star Wars further expand rather than fade away.
