Default Question on sony walkman E374 and E364

Hi,
I'm considering to buy 'new'(claimed by the sellers) Sony NWZ-E374 or E364 on ebay and looked for product reviews on google, but I wasn't able to find any reviews by the third parties like cnet, consumerreport, or such. This made me wonder.... Were they available in the US ?

I'm concerned about this because I'm not sure how warranty works if the product wasn't originally available in the US.

And I believe they are the successor of E354.. What is different between E354 and E364/E374 ??

I'd appreciate your thoughts and advices..

For what it is worth. I wouldn't worry about the warranty, IMO. If you want and you got the moolah go for it. In the 30 yrs. of owning Sony portable products (Walkman Cassette players,Mini Disc, Boom Boxes, DMP, and MMP). Only units to gave out were the cassette players but only after long hard use after many years. All these units were used in Alternative Action Sports.

I have never had a warranty issue. As far as DMP's and MMP's go in the past 10 years I still have them all and are still working just fine and the bodies have held up. These players have traveled all over the US in communications installations. So I'd say the are rugged enough even the e-series.

I've had a few Sony Walkman players, and I've only had a problem with the first S Series player Sony released. Sony for the most part is very reliable, so I doubt you'd have a problem with one of their players. Just make sure the sellers are reputable, and use PayPal for the transaction so you have buyer security.

Thanks,
Buying it on ebay, I'd like to double check not to get a fake item or an item that failed QA and someone picked up from the trash can at the factory.
I know it's not possible to be 100% sure about the authenticity of the item when I buy on ebay, but if there are any tips for verifying items, I'd highly appreciate your expert advices.
