I still don't understand how price fixing by manufacturers can be legal. A retailer should be able to determine his selling prices.

The gripe is that if I were to buy a batch of 64gb micro SDXC cards for $30 a piece, then sell them on Amazon.com for $35, the other retailers want to be able to get the sales halted. Not fakes mind you, but discounted lots I might have been able to acquire. The retailers want Amazon to police third party sellers,...bullshit!!! Too bad,...let people make money the way they want - especially when it's totally LEGAL!!!

But, sometimes, the sales are not legal--for example, products acquired outside the U.S. at a lower price, then imported into the U.S. and sold here.

Electronics bought outside the US and sold here are not illegal as long as they are real, and the seller discloses that they are grey market, so they have no US warranty.
