Correct, I stated my case badly. Another note about fm transmitters, I had one a while back and it didn't work well and only offered a limited choice of fm frequencies. Then I had a third party radio with all inputs, but now I have a new car in which they saw fit to give me aux in and an ipod connection (but not a complimentary ipod). So I got a cheap fm transmitter and it works really well, covers all fm frequencies but the signal strength is strong enough to even overcome a local station.
