Zune 4.8 Quick Search issue

Even with that, there quick search is just easier to use (in my opinion) because I don’t want to have to go through every song and "sort" them; I have neither the patience nor the time. Either way this update is horrible. It seems every time I open it up, I’m stripped one feature at a time.

So, it's been ALMOST A YEAR. Anyone still optimistic they will fix this?

No. From what I read, the entire Zune team disbanded almost immediately after they released ZuneHD. Windows Phone is abandoning Zune software for WP8. We'll have to hope there is something that works with Zune for the new XBox Music, I guess.
