Looking for a high quality 3.5mm to RCA cable
I need a good cable to run from my PC's line out to the stereo amp in my office. They're on opposite sides of my desk, so it needs to be at least 9ft/3m long. Preferably reasonably priced (under $25).
I could use another similar cable, 5 to 7 ft long for occasionally connecting a DAP to my stereo. Suggestions? Last edited by Carson Dyle; 08-20-2012 at 07:18 PM.

why spend so much money on a cable? you can buy a ton of them for dirt cheap and just use the one that works best for you. this is what i use and it seems to work fine

I buy from Monoprice quite frequently. I buy a crap load of usb cables and audio video stuff from them. The prices are really cheap but you have to factor in shipping which is about $4-6 or something like that. I suggest buying a few more items that you might need in the future.

I use monoprice for alot of cables as well. But in my personal system I have everything ran with Mogami Mini Star Quad, I build them myself and will build them to length for other people too. I have a link in my signature to my classified and you can also PM me if you are interested. The images in are a 3.5mm to RCA cable, only about 3 feet long though.
When you are running line level signal then you need to make sure you don't run it parallel to a 120V AC line or you are much more likely to pick up interference.

I ended up getting this Mediabridge cable through Amazon. I'm fairly impressed with the quality for an $11 cable.
