What are your favorite books? Write a quick explanation why.
1) The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry A children's book but it has some pretty deep parallels with philosophic matters that make it relevant for an older demographic as well. 2) The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde I kind of have a thing for Oscar Wilde and his writing style. 3) The Trial by Franz Kafka Still one of my favorite dystopian novels ever. 4) The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya by Nagaru Tanigawa Really no idea why I like it so much , I like the rest of the novels as well. 5) The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu Surrealistic literature before the term even existed :P. |
