Default Samsung Tab2 opinions

Thinking about getting one mainly for listening to tunes and couch surfing.

Better than Kindle Fire/Nook Tablet. Specs aren't as good as Nexus 7, but Nexus 7 has no card slot and G-Tab 2 does have one.

So what's more important to you? The best specs and newest Android OS, or a card slot to hold more of your music/videos, etc?

For general coach use the Tab2 also has a IR blaster so it could be use as a remote control which is kind of neat.

Got me a Tab 2 today and so far i don't regret it nice Gorilla glass screen,Sd slot for my tunes,IR for changing channels on tv,music player has a EQ something that is missing on the playbook. I only have the playbook to compare and the tab has so far filled the gaps.

I'm very pleased with the Galaxy Tab2 7.0. While it may not be cutting edge technology, it performs very well. It received a little OTA update a few days ago. As a media player and the ability to have additional storage it's a good value (even considering the Nexus 7, imo).

In all my excitement of getting acquainted with my new device ,
I removed my 32GB SD card without unmounting it RIP sd card.
Everything on it was backed up so wasnt a total loss.

Can you reformat it to resurrect it, by any chance? How about using the SD Association's Formatter Tool?

Tab 2 has good battery life and decent sound better than the SGP.

It is a good value.
