![]() You often year a lot about Microsoft and Apple’s smartphone media players – Xbox Music (formerly Zune) and iTunes, respectively – but Google’s solution is often, for better or worse, completely forgotten in discussions. Google, however, has just pushed out an update for Google Play Music, giving the app a fresh look and a few new features. The following improvements can be found in v4.3.606 of the Google Play Music app: * Now Playing queue that allows for queuing and reordering of currently playing music. * New UI for navigation with transport controls on the action bar. * New large album art view on Recent. * Playlist art is now constructed from album art of songs in the playlist. * Now Playing widget has album art and support for thumbs up. * Harder, better, faster, stronger. It’s not a major update, but the updated interface certainly is an improvement. What features would you like to see Google add in the next release? [Google Play via Droid Life]
