(I just got a really good Gretag/Macbeth i1 Display 2 calibration spider as a gift and notice that some of my photos now appear a bit too dark for me, compared to the Spyder 2 calibration I did before...)

That’s a Florida Sunrise which was developed by by Mickey Carmichael from Mickey’s Orchids, I tried to find some info on the net about it but couldn't. I know she developed it as I've known them for many years now and she won a prize for it in the orchid society (not sure which). She's run her business out of her backyard since 1962, one of these days I'm going to shoot a bunch of pics over there and I'll post them here, it's a beautiful place!

That orchid doesn’t do as good as the other ones I have because it gets too much sun light, as I planted it on a Alexandra palm in my back yard to see how it would do. While it blooms regularly it's not grown as fast as others I have like it. It’s the same as the first picture on left and last picture here. I buy clippings of various orchids from her and plant them on my trees or I attach them to bamboo, wooden boxes and occasionally into some clay pots. Edit: I also plant them on or into coconuts.

Edit2: Forgot to mention, the flowering lasts for weeks and goes thru a nice color change, at the end of it’s cycle it turns yellow for a week or two and dies till next bloom. Looks like:
