Hi all,
I've just ordered a Clip+. I'll get a 64GB card to use with Rockbox and then I'll have only paid about £80 for a 72GB player. Pretty great. But anyway... I use Media Monkey to manage my music, and I have it sorted by Artist, then by Date. So I'll see my Beatles albums after my Beach Boys, and Revolver will come before Abbey Road etc. Will I also be able to do this on my Clip+? |

While I haven't looked at it in much detail so far, I know that you can set up custom database sorting. Read this.
The cool thing about RB is that you stumble another function you hadn't explored yet once in a while. I just set up sound configs for the headphones I typically use. Splendid. |

I'm pretty sure Clip+ does not support microSDXC. 32GB is the max, and I'm happy with my Sandisk.

Not officially, but SDXC is backwards compatible with SDHC so it'll work fine with Rockbox if you reformat it FAT32.

Thanks for the links on both issues.
The date sorting looks a bit heavy for me! I'm going to take a punt on a 64GB card. If it doesn't work I'm sure I'll be able to find another use for it. |
