I'm getting one this week and since so many of you here use headphone amps I was wondering if/what you would recommend. I've had the SOL Republic Tracks HDs for nearly a year now (best decision I've made so far out of all the headphones I've been through) and even though they sound awesome all on their own, I was just curious if there be could even more sound improvement to my setup.

I haven't seen the specifications for the SOL's but seeing how they're designed to work with ipods I'm guessing the impedance is low so doubtful they need an amp. You might want to read this thread to get an idea what an amp can do.

With a Clip theres basically no point in adding an amp. The output is already fine, so no gain from adding another amp.

^ Okay cool, that's what I figured (since I already owned a fuze and never had issues with it's default sound set up with my headphones). Just wanted to make sure though and had been curious about portable amps for a long while now after seeing so many of them here. Anyway, thanks for the quick replies also.
I appreciate it.
