Nice.
I guess if APT-X is really important to me i'll grab the aforementioned jaybird adapter and add to sansaclip.
I can't live without rockbox lol.
I'm looking forward to sansas next project above all others tbh.

I'd love to love a new small creative player with bluetooth. I have one main requirement and that's the ability to play one song of an album or playlist and stop so I have to hit next and play for the next song to play. Creative and Cowon are the only ones that have this feature, and needing bluetooth and at least 32gb forced me to the Cowon. SQ is great, but I don't need all the video capability. Wish Creative would finally get it right. Too much to hope Sandisk will add that "play once" feature to it's firmware as I'm sure they'll have an expandable player with BT coming up.

I really hate using a plug in BT transmitter. Defeats the purpose if you have to worry about another device to keep charged, possibly lose or forget and what not.

Out of curiosity, why do u need this feature? Seems a little strange to me? Can rockbox not do it?

I teach a cardio lifting class, and there is a short break after each track to stretch and change weights. Pain in the ass to keep running back to the player to pause it, go back stretch, change weights and then back to the player to start the next song. I'm still peeved someone stole my original 32gb Zen. I always used MTP mode and WMP. Now I'm in msc and using media monkey with the original Style and the Cowon J3. The J3 has been nice but annoying. Get freeze ups from time to time so I have to keep a paperclip handy. And now the battery is completely dead and about $40 plus to replace. The SQ is nice though.

Haven't tried Rockbox since the ipod mini days and upgrading them with CF drives. It probably does. Just haven't thought to do it to my Clip. Now I have to find my Clip +.

Also annoyed nobody makes a snap on hard case for the style. Only silicone which I can't stand because it's cheap stretchy silicone and dust and such collects everywhere inside it, and I can't glue a decent belt clip to it.

And to answer your question, as I just rockboxed my clip zip (4gb new for $28 thanks to Amazon Warehouse), no, rockbox doesn't have that play once feature under playback settings. I know it's somewhat of a unique feature, but odd that it's not available on rockbox yet cowon and creative find it a useful feature.

Leave Repeat off. Create a playlist of a single song. Easily done on a Rockboxed player. Play it. It stops.

Play a single song, then stop, fulfilled.

No offense, but that isn't a solution, it's a poor work around creating 10 playlists for every mix and album. Easier to just stick with the creative player. My class isn't going to notice the SQ difference, and I'll just use the Clip for working out and practice when I don't need the feature. Not that I don't appreciate offering up the solution. Just seems like an annoying workaround for what could be a simple solution to implement. And I already mentioned the same thing in the rockbox forum. Just surprised as rockbox is touted as so configurable. I could essentially do that workaround on any player than that doesn't have that feature. No need for rockbox.
