Default PREVIEW of the upcoming "TMA-1 Studio" from AIAIAI

new cans from AIAIAI called TMA-1 Studio..
not much information is yet known, to be unveiled at the CES event in CA.
heres a pic
looks to me as its an upgrade from the much praised TMA-1
(** maybe an interesting rival for the upcoming Sennheiser Amprior??)
What do you guys think? Comments are most welcomed

got the pic from aiaiai.dk

Uhm, interesting. They seem closed as well? But with way bigger cups.

Bigger cups and I may be interested in them. I've got big ears and hate to have the phones setting on my ears.

I'm guessing they will cost somewhere around 300$ price range... I'd actually be shocked if AIAIAI Decides to go 400 for a seemingly closed headphone , 300 area sounds fair but then again that's just my opinion.

I find the TMA-1 very comfy for supra-aurals, but I'm surely intrigued by a circum-aural version of the same. Maybe with a smidgen more treble, for good measure...

It looks like the only drawback I had of the TMA-1 is fixed in these. This is relevant to my interests.

Would be interested in trying these out at some point that's for sure. Don't have the money or interested in two pair of headphones at the same time though so I will probably skip unless it's possible to upgrade ^^

They look great and the cups look very interesting but I think some will be shocked when the MSRP comes out.

I suspect you are right Walkgood, AIAIAI has received too much good publicity recently and it'll likely go to their heads.

The product looks solid.

Well, if the TMA-1 starts @$200USD, then I really DO wonder how much more these will cost. Good call WG!!!

Well considering part of the appeal of the TMA-1s for me was portability, these kinda strike an odd note for me. More studio sounding TMAs, sure why not, but bigger ones? Nahh...

These look very promising. I hope they have better extended treble than the original TMA-1

I hope the mids have better clarity as well. That's why I returned the AIAIAI TMA-1 and kept my HD25-1 II's.
