Default Android support for HU's

I hate to re-post this here but I'm not getting any replies over in the car audio forums. So I figured I would draw some more eye's here.

Okay so I am new here but I have done a lot of reading here the past couple of weeks. I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Player and I love it. You can check out my review here. Now with that said I want to be able to play my music through my HU in my truck. I have a JVC KD-A615. Problem is that it doesn't support Android devices. But some of the newer JVC heads do. Solution... custom firmware for my HU. Now I'm not a programmer so I have no clue what to do. If anyone were willing to help me out with it I would greatly appreciate it (and by help I mean you would do all the work and I would help where I could lol). I kind of wonder if this can even be done. What do you all think? Is this possible? Is anyone willing to give this thing a shot? Thanks guys in advance.

I am not sure that it is possible to control the SGP externally even if the JVC was compatible with Android. You need to find the answer to that question before you get someone involved in writing new firmware for your JVC.

So, I know nothing of these sorts of devices BUT I did a quick Google search and it says it supports USB flash drives. If that is the case, have you turning on storage mode when connecting your SGP to the USB port of the head unit? If it works, it should just look like a regular flash drive to the HU. So basically, you aren't controlling the SGP as such, you are just letting it act as a music storage device for the JVC to feed from.
