I have the 8GB silver original Sansa Clip player, and I use it only for audiobooks. I really like the user interface on the player. But, I've had it for around 5 years now, and the battery time is not what it used to be...
I've tried the Sansa Clip+. but never liked it as much as my old player. Is the Clip Zip and the Clip+ similar...? And the card is interesting. Can I use the card for books as well? Will they be able to play on the card, the same way as the audiobook-part of the player? I never got the hang on that on the Clip+... Can anyone please explain to me how this works...? And the buttons on the Clip is uplight. The Clip+ was not... How is it on the Clip Zip...? I hope someone will take the time to answer these questions for me. I can't find a store who sells the Clip Zip, so I cant try it before I buy. I have to order it on the internet. Thank you for any answers or input. |

IMO the Clip+ is closer to the Clip than the Clip Zip is to the Clip. But I don't use Audiobooks.) Heck there is hardly any difference between the original Clip and the Clip+. What exactly didn't you like about the Clip+? Steve

FreeZ5: I actually don't know. I borrowed it from a friend over a weekend, but I never really liked it. The menus were a little different, and I never godt comfortable with it. The buttons squeeked a lot more than my Clip. The feeling of not liking it have just stuck, and I never wanted to get one. But now is the old one so weary that I have to buy a new one, and I think I want to go for the Zip over the Clip+. =)
Mikerman: Thanks for your answer. =) |

I bought one yesterday, and have now tested it a little bit. The player is perfect for audiobooks! It works just like I wanted! Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated!
