What I was getting at is if there is no “1” marking, then is it possible that it is not a class 10 card? AFAIK none of the others are marked but my standard SD cards are. My 32GB microSD is class 6, no it’s not marked on the card but it was on the package it came in (SanDisk brand and packaging).

well buying from amazon.com for example, where it says class 6 - then ur screwed.

However, buying from play.com or amazon.co.uk for example, where it was written class 10, and is in fact a class 6 = free refund because of false advertising

No not true, they will refund or replace.

It could just be a typo. Or even a typo on purpose, just think how many people check for sure ...

my point is - if u claim to amazon.com that its a class 10, they will tell u to look at the description.

Vice versa for play.com

that said these companies have great return policies anyway

Although amazon.com didn't claim it to be class 10 in the description like play.com, thus my question about the "1" marking. Since you don’t have a class 10, how can you answer the question? I could guess that the earlier class 10 cards didn’t have the marking but then again I’m only guessing as I don't own one either.

I'm talking for returning the goods for not being as advertised, not for the 1 number or not.

Regardless, wait till someone finds the answer or go look on google i guess...
