Does anyone use a amp with their ATH-M50's?

Just got my ATH-M50's today and was wondering if anyone uses a amp with them

Not on the go, I either just them directly out of my Cowon S9 or out of my Marantz NR1402.

I've used them directly out of my laptop, my Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0, and my ZuneHD. All three had no issues, besides possibly when I was on an airplane. Then, with the volume cranked, I coulda used a little more juice. It was still fine, though.

I was trying them out with my Fuze and i thought i could use a little more volume out of them

To each his own. Perhaps my other players have just been better at driving them, too.

I personally felt the fuze had less volume than the other players I own/ed. Try them with a different player and see (hear) if there's a difference in volume.
