Default Desires for Walkman Z v. 2

I'm really hoping Sony will make a follow-up device to the Z, and I guess I'm being optimistic that someone there reads these types of forums (anyone got insider info?) Basically here's my perfect device:

Same design language as Z but more comfortable to hold(and one version that's just black please!)
Smaller screen, 3.8-4"
qHD resolution, TFT LCD or AMOLED
On screen buttons because it's stock Android.
Mini/micro-USB
SD card (not as much of a deal for me but I know people want it)
Build quality on par with A-84x series
Slight bump in clock speed, but more importantly more RAM.
Better battery life

anything else? Personally I think that a device with these specs could sell well, if marketed well.

Please Sony, keep trying!

My "perfect" Z:

Five to five point five inch screen. Four point three is too small for me. Samsung Note is a good size.
Either a teal or a pink color, like their new E46x series.
Ditch the so-called S-Master system but keep the sound effects. AK4385 and MAX9722 please. I've had it with capacitor-coupled outputs.
Actually meaningful measurements such as output impedance.
Internal compass that works instead of just dancing all over the place.
Standard USB would be cool. MicroSD cards would be cool.
Bundled Bluetooth earphones that can actually sound nice.
Tegra 3 with 1GiB RAM.
Moar battery! I don't care if it's an inch thick, give me 48 hours of continuous music please. Then again I'm used to six hours of battery on my tape Walkman, so this ain't a priority.
FLAC support? Don't bother. But maybe WMA Lossless.

Oh, you say an inch would be fine, but after a few days, you'll be asking for it to be half an inch at most.

Maybe they could make it longer and wider, and just put the same volume of battery but flatter. A big old pancake of a battery, even.

Do you know what a PCM-D50 is? It's 1 5/16" thick, runs on 4 AA's, weighs 13 oz an provides nearly 30 hours of continuous music.

I've been using that for a year and a half before purchasing this Z. The D50 is not intended for music listening so the file navigation becomes a pain when you have 35 Vocaloid albums, most with very long names, displayed on a 1 1/2" screen. And believe it or not, the D50 was neither heavy enough nor thick enough for me. Which is why I whipped out the old WM-D6C, being even larger, thicker and heavier (and that was still not enough).

Figuring that DAT and cassette decks are just impossible to repair now, I looked at some solid-state backpackers such as the HD-P2 and the PMD671. Cannot afford, music navigation probably isn't going to be better, battery life won't be that good either.

It was only then that I decided to buy a device that's actually intended for music listening. After filtering out the current market, the Walkman Z was my only choice left (not being conscious of the Galaxy Player 5, and the Galaxy Note is a phone). Thus. But I have to live with the battery life. I could attach an external battery pack but... No. That's not a DC charger.

I did haul an Archos 7 resistive tablet around once. The firmware crashed too often.

made of metal not plastic same screen size, a camera would be nice, tegra 3 a little bigger battery, stock android back lit capacitive buttons. sd card slot, a standard usb port, and more video file support for their movies app.

Default Amoled Screen

I think the walkman should have a amoled screen and more flash drive space.

anyone know of an email or contact that I could send some inquiries about a second walkman z to? I'm just really curious if they'll be following up with a new player...

I really don't think Sony cares.

I surely don't. This will be my last Sony audio player.

On a sidenote, does anyone's Z's edges start to wear down?
