Default Looking for a possible upgrade from the Sennheiser hd203

Budget: $60 - $120

Location: Puerto Rico

Category: Full-size, closed headphones

Primary location of use: At home or commuting

Preferable SQ or Sound Signature: Hopefully my media choice below is enough to inform this

Media:
indie rock - sufjan stevens, fleet foxes
indie pop - dr dog, belle and sebastian, of montreal
indie electronic - lcd soundsystem, daft punk, justice
pop rock - the beatles, the beach boys
prog / psych rock - mgmt, beach house
hip hop - kanye west, childish gambino

Source: Sansa Clip+, laptop

Pretty much title, looking for a replacement for my Sennheiser HD203. I feel like its time for a upgrade in sound quality. Would there be a noticeable increase in quality in the range of $60 - $120, or would I really shell out some money to really notice it?

I've read good things about a couple of models, like the Sony MDR V6, the Shure SRH 440, the Senn HD280 Pro and the Koss ProDJ100. The problem to me is that I don't know if those specific models fit the kind of music I listen to and I'd like maybe a little help from some people that have experience with these headphones and the music I listen to.

Finally, before I get these headphones I'll be getting a Sansa Clip+. I'd like it if the headphones were easily playable by the Clip+, but as I understand it that isn't usually a problem.
