There again my complaint about my Touch comes back into play....the screen is too small after using the SGP. I remember the Zune HD also having a very nice looking screen that is just too small....at least for anything beyond just playing tunes. The 5" screen of the SGP has spoiled me....not to mention the Tab's 7" screen....lol.

I used to watch videos on there. I think I made it all the way through Saving Private Ryan on it...

So pretty much what you're all saying is that the first third-party browser I picked is actually the best? Sweet. Actually, that's not entirely true, I did try Firefox on my last phone for a little while--it kind of sucked. But then it wasn't supported, so what did I really expect?

Report: Dolphin HD is slower than the stock browser on my Z.

Try opera mobile for comparison. But if it's pure speed you want use opera mini. It's the fastest android browser, bar none, but at the cost of nicer rendering and flash. (hence why I've been using mobile for now).

You can also fiddle with the settings. I have my Flash settings to "on demand" rather than "always" which speeds it up a bit. It also has the benefit of making most adds not load unless you click on them. Dolphin HD has a lot of versatility. I also have an add-on called "browse faster" which kills other apps running in the background. I don't really use it, but you may want to look into it.

to be blunt and completely honest... some of us don't want to view a phone/mobile based page... instead i'd rather goto a site like www.justdubs.net and I want it to load and be able to watch tehir videos... most android devices now have the power to just that... why aren't people doing this yet? 800mhz with 256mb is a fine computer to surf the real web with...... in conclusion.. I know a few boys porting the linux midori browser over to droid that's supposedly... going to have the features to view full web pages without restrictions.. yes this includes youtube...
