I noticed on the Canadacomputers.com site, they have a clearance on the J3... $88 for the 16GB. Don't see any in stock anymore and we aren't able to order. That's a great price even if it's only a 16GB model.

After reading that the J3 was discontinued, I pulled the trigger and bought one today with the hope that a 64GB SDXC card will work. Being in Canada, I only had two domestic retailers to choose from, one that deleted the product from their online store last week, and another that has been out of stock ever since i first started eyeballing a J3 last summer. I have an iPod classic 80GB which was preceded by a beloved Cowon X5. I was hoping to wait until the iPod died to find something around the 120-160 GB range, but I'm alarmed at how low the battery life is on Android players, while more and more companies start making Android powered players. I love having the freedom to go a few days of constant use without needing a charge. Anyways, I bought one from Amazon US and did NOT get a deal. But I guess this still worked out for me, as it just gave me the "It's now or never" excuse for my wife.

My Android powered player is rated at 60 hours audio playback, if using the native music player and the recommended 128kbps mp3's. Of course, I don't have any 128kbps mp3's.

Well when I ordered it they had a price for international shipping and I got an email today saying it already shipped, from "Amazon Export Sales". Weird thing though, I tried to order it with an extra usb cable, and it said the one item couldn't be shipped to my address. When I deleted the usb cable, the order went through. Whatever, as long as I get my player, I'm good. Also ordered a 64GB micro sdxc card from here in Canada. Fingers crossed that I can load it fully!

Its one of the last non-android players from cowon, and a pretty incredible one too. Prices should go down for some while then shoot for the sky, just like the Zune HD. I've had my J3 for over a year now, and I still prefer it over my sansa clip...

I bought an iAudio U5: Cowon cancelled it.
Now, I just purchased a J3 and I find out it is being cancelled. Oh, great!

At least they last a bit of time before the players died.

Finally caved in and got a 32 GB model (and a 32 GB class 10 microSD card) from French retailer Pixmania before the J3 goes completely extinct! My S9 being almost full (I have like less than 2 gigs free left), it was about time! Can't wait!

As much as I love Android on my phone, I want to avoid it as much as possible on my Cowon players. The-more-than-average battery life isn't doing it for me (and I can use apps on my Evo 3D so I'm not missing out).

Now that J3 is going to be discontinued, do you guys feel one should still go for it, while the stocks last..I was scoping around for a MP3 player and had more or else decided on J3, before I came to know that it was being discontinued...Now I AM STUCK....

I ordered one on Tuesday past from Amazon.com were it stated that only two were left, I panicked and made a purchase. Today some days later I check and now it states "only 19 are left" and "more on the way"!!! In the end I got it for the best price on the web.
