first off .....

your comment brought nothing constructive to this convo. If that is how you feel offer some headphone suggestions that might enlighten the OP to your idea of quality bass. a better statement would be that boomy is not accurate bass. you can have quality boom that doesn't distort. Doesn't mean its your cup of tea, but that is taste and preference.

If your talking about the Cortex CHP-2500 I call BULLSHIT. The bass is clear, and it's an overall great sounding budget headphone.
