I haven't seen any reviews or heard of anyone that actually has a set so I can't say if they're style over substance.

I've seen them before but never tried them so I can't comment on sound. But IMO most of these "artist" sponsored IEMs/headphones are rebranded OEMs made in China. That said, I think you can get a better bang for your buck in the same price range with out having to pay a premium for the name, which in Bob's case it most likely goes to his family. BTW I lived in JA for 5 years and trust me, they aren't making them there.

This is not necessarily a bad thing, Fischer Audio is based on Chinese OEMs as well (as far as I know) and they make some respectable headphones. Not to mention Hippo.

I agree but throw on an artist name and the price is much higher, that's all I was implying but guess it came out wrong.
