When I thought I narrowed my headphone descision down to the V-Moda Crossfade LP, I discovered somewhere that the Crossfade LP2 is newer. Does anyone know the difference between these two headphones? (I'm talking looks or sound quality) On amazon.com, the LP2s are $100 more, and I want to know why.

The sq is said to be greatly improved on the LP2. The LP is too boomy and is said to sound like an echo chamber. The LP2 still has great bass, but the sq is so that it's more even (leans towards a warmer but more neutral sound). I haven't heard them, so this is all gleaned from reviews.
As for build quality, it's said to be the same: excellent. I really want the LP2,...I'll wait for a sale.

Thanks a lot! So is it really worth spending $200 for over the regular LP?
