Zune Hd & Tango
I have feeling Microsoft has one last update for the Zune HD's. Remember the Zune is hardware with firmware installed that Microsoft can easily update to Tango since we are higher than the minimum specs, and any software we can't run such as GPS will be hidden like the new low end phones coming out. Ballmer has been dodging the question lately and it makes perfect sense to do so one interface on Microsoft Music, Windows Phone, PC, Tablet and Xbox.

Maybe I'm just one of many of MS's scorned lovers, but the HD is done. Regardless, I don't think I'd let it run that update. My player works brilliantly right now, and it's going to remain that way forever, if I have my way.

Wishful thinking, at this point I agree with The DarkSide and steinburger1109, MS is done with Zune …

I agree with most parts
I agree on most parts and I know Zune on Windows Phone sucks but think of gapless playback and adjustable eq along with an upgraded browser. Even after looking at Microsoft music it is pale in comparison to the Zune Windows Client. I could see it as an optional upgrade and keeping all the interfaces the same across all platforms. I could also see Microsoft Rebranding the same Zune hardware at a drastically reduced price just to get metro in everyone's hands. Either way I'm happy with the HD except not being able to use Expression Blend 4 to create HD apps. Dave did a great job for the community, if it wasn't for him we might be stuck with 4 apps lol. Although I would love to see all the Zune HD apps on the WP7 store especially audiosurf.

Microsoft doesn't care about the Zune HD anymore. They'll support ppl who already own one, but that's about it. There will be no update, but you can dream. I hope you have a nice pillow and a comfy blanky,...

lol you guys are funny. Still speculating. Remember when we thought we'd get update 4.7? Or when we thought there would be a Zune HD 2?
Gotta say, last summer/spring before the discontinue was the most fun I've ever had with my Zune. That beta testing... So good.
