Default Soundmagic E10 or E30
Looking for a new pair of heads to replace my super fi 5 IEMs when they finally break (which they will, this is my 2nd pair). Right now I have Creatives EP-630 (a freebee) on standby for when they do break so im not stranded tuneless

But would like to keep an eye out (ear out? lol) for something better to replace the super fi 5's. I use a sansa fuzev2, clip+ or clip zip all RB.

I am considering these due to dfkt's comparison sheet. Which model is closer to super fi 5's (in most similar sound likeness)? Where dfkt writes BAD for 'Ease of Insert' yet also says GOOD for 'comfort', does he mean they're just tricky to get in right, but once in the ear they are comfortable enough?

Anyway yeh, just after some opinions between these two IEMs and what people preferred.

To date I have owned Etymotic Er6's (awful, wish i'd changed to a different IEM sooner), Super Fi 5's (my fav IEM I have tried so far) and V-moda Vibes (okish).

I got E30 on Saturday. May be it's too quick from my side but dfkt is right. It is not easy to insert correctly because of their angular canal (I believe), Once they are inserted right they are comfortable.

I am happy with SQ. I never used highly priced iem before, so I can not compare. I was using head-direct RE2 before. Used scull candy, vibe and cx500 only for some time. E30 has more bass compared to RE2.

I have the e10 and it sounds pretty good (way better than it's price) and I ordered the e30 a couple of days ago. It should be here tomorrow hopefully. I can let you know then.

I have the E30. They are extremely light and comfortable and not difficult to insert. The challenge is to keep them inserted if you're active. The supplied double-flange tips can help there, if you don't mind the deeper insertion. I've also found V-Moda single flange tips hold better the ones supplied by SoundMagic.

I just posted feedback in a review on Amazon.com about my pair of E10's,which I suppose were a bad pair? The right earphone started dying and the housing broke after just a month of being babied with extra care,so I don't plan on buying another one of those.My XePorts still work fine though.
