My own tests, probably not 100% reliable! (typo on firmware version as well).

As far as the navigation software it seems exactly the same as it was for the Creative Mozaic which I owned for a while, tbh I couldn't complaint, felt simple enough for me. I only used to listen to music though, never used playlists or any of the sort. Still, I wouldn't recommend this player, for the X-Fi 3 it's features/design are very disappointing.
