First off, I know this post is a bit old (although not that old, I suppose), but I think that people should knew the pro's and con's of this player.

I should warn you using this player will require some patience on you part, especially when you first get it, as you learn to deal with the controls. Not only are they lacking the fine tuning that other devices have (in terms of recognizing which button you are trying to push), but the controls are also laggy. This means that you will need to get used to the controls, and you'll need to keep in mind that, just because the player won't respond instantly, doesn't mean that you didn't push the exact button. You might have to wait a full second or more to know if the device interpreted you command correctly.

Also, the device has a number of glitches, some as simple as the ability to keep time. Once you start to get used to fixing these glitches, though, you might come to enjoy this thing.

Personally, I love the video player, as it is not nearly as picky about how the videos were encoded as the last Sandisk player. It supports three different containers (avi, mp4, wmv), as opposed to the previous player, which only supported specially-muxed AVI's. The quality's not too bad either, assuming of course that you are playing reasonable quality video. Once you get used to this thing, it can be a great player.

Plus, if you absolutley hate this player, you can rockbox it, though rockbox is still in a developmental stage right now.
