Question Cowon J3 music file limit?

Has the file limit been removed on the J3? I'm getting another J3 & a 64gb micro SDXC card, so I need to hear from you guys. I rechecked the specs on Cowon's website and it only listed .jpg's as unlimited.

Thanks in advance people!!!

Well, as you might know there has been some discussion about the file limit before and I don't think there is any news there. No news other than the fact that uglor managed to get over 12,000 songs (internal memory + external memory combined) on his J3 (see here). Not sure if I was to any help but that's what I know.

It's advertised as 8000 media files 12000 total on the internal or the microsd card. I've got no way to test that limit, as packing it full with 320kbs mp3s tops out at around 6000 songs with 9000 total files.

I'll be rocking high bitrate mp3's myself, so I should be good as well.

I think I only had about 6600 or so on the 64GB ZuneHD when I had it, so you'll probably fit in under 12k.

Yeah, I think so. I'll just be doing music anyways. The file limit, if it still exists, shouldn't be an issue then. I just wanted to be sure is all.
