hello everyone.
i've just got a new T30 1G player. its my first mp3 player actually. having a bit of a problem, so i'm obviously doing something wrong. first up i found that when i connected the player to the pc i kept getting the message about it not being recognized. so i ended up using a different cable than the one that came with the player. this is better although i still get that message sometimes. i'll go to the sync tab on the wmp and hit 'start sync'. every track gets to around 85% then i get an error message: ERROR the l/0 operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an application request. i 've looked at the manual a few times and i seem to be doing everything right? thanks Last edited by dogman; 01-09-2007 at 04:48 AM. also, i just tried to upgrade the firmware to 1.71, i had 1.70. i follow all the instructions right up to disconnecting the player from pc, however on the screen it mentions 'no firmware'.

Yeah I mean the usb cable ports you plug into that are on your computer. Some get dirty and don't work right, so it's always good to try different ports and cables to make sure it isn't those.
