ABI's Android phone of the year for 2010 - Scrapped for now

This thread is based on the nominations received. The winner will be decided based on the most votes received by January 1st. If we have a tie, there will be a new poll only between the tied phones. The choices are;

Google Nexus One - Released in January 2010, this phone revolutionized Android by showing what an Android device could do with superior hardware. It was also released with Android 2.1 and the first to feature Android 2.2

Google Nexus S - Released in late 2010 and the follow-up to the Nexus One, the Nexus S was the first to feature Android 2.3. It also introduced unified internal memory and a curved glass screen.

Samsung Galaxy S - The Galaxy S was released in April 2010. It was the first major Android release by Samsung and used features typically only offered in the iPhone, such as a smoother browser, a high-end GPU for gaming, and an outstanding camera. For many, this was the ideal Android phone in 2010.

HTC Desire HD - Released in late 2010 in Europe, and used as the basis for the AT&T Inspire 4G and Verizon's Thunderbolt, this was the first device to use the Snapdragon S2 chipset. It was also the first European big-screen phone following the American success of the Evo 4G on Sprint. The Desire HD showed the world that big-screen phones weren't a niche, but rather, the future of smartphones.

These choices are based on the nominations from this thread which has been up for three weeks.
