did a little research and found a few new UIs. they are still at development stage but they are showing that the playback can look better than the original one:

menu UI:
it is actually just the original menu just a bit modified: there are only two screens and disables the "daily life screen".

I found some better ones imo, I now have a vertical stock one and a better browser and NPS.
Here are the ones i am using:

1) Main Menu
2) NPS (Now Playing Screen)
3) Browser

After holding the device awhile it appears that everything in portrait mode (vertical) makes more sense than landscape.
I will do a video later this weekend to illustrate. I have to say these UI Themes have really made me feel much better about my purchase of the C2

FYI, the NPS and Browser themes look alot better with yer own music/art on them lol, and the screenshots here don't do it justice really, u have to try it for yerself i was surprsied by the sharpness and quality (whereas other ones i tried that were trying to do the same thing were more pixelated and less professional). It's not perfect but i prefer this a whole lot more.
