Not that sure if this is the same one but my 9 year okd daughter got one of these as a gift several years ago. She only wore it a few times.

I don't wear hoodies as I don't have the need in Florida but what's wrong with wearing a hoodie that's modified to a hoodiebuddie and excuse me for saying but that's shallow.

Well it'd be great if they offered a different selection of earbuds - perhaps as a premium line. Then again I would never buy this sort of stuff... it just doesn't seem to be cost effective at all.

I have plenty of friends that don’t use quality stuff and they’re still friends, some I have been able to convince to upgrade to better IEMs/headphones and gear but I could care less what they use, but they're still friends. BTW a joke carries a or to make it more obvious and as I said in first post "excuse me for saying," don't take it personal.

Even if they carried a high end selection this stuff is not for me but I could see how some kids might want to use this kind of thing or even make their own, DIY ftw

Make their own... I wonder whether the kids that actually want this are the type to pick up a needle or go into the workshop to make something of their own...

I've always been interested in DIY (always wanted to learn soldering), but we're at a point that it's generally not cost effective for consumer electronics anymore.

Trying to not go off topic too far here ... but I disagree, you can buy a decent soldering iron for around 12.00 (here) and silver solder for a few bucks at most. This allows you to fix what you have and mod others ....

Yeh, I definitely wouldn't get these, myself, though I can see the appeal.

BTW, I also have several friends using Bose and Dre Beats. Love 'em all the same.

well soldering new drivers into them didn't do me any good cause either the heat got to them or my wiring is all miscombobulated. Instead i used the in ear peices (plastic base and rubber buds) and i gorrilla glued them to some ipod headphones turning them into in ear buds... Works great to :P you will have to turn mid range audio down a bit tho it stands out way to much but with some eq modifications you have a pair of headphones with more bass than a 100$ pair of ibeats :P totally worth the time XD let me know if you guys want pics or instructions i'll upload. Thanks

Poor audio quality aside, wouldn't you still need to carry a spare pair of headphones in case wearing the hoody gets too hot?
