Default Sansa e250 Rhaps, White Screen of Death

I have the e250 Rhapsody 8GB.
My problem is that the white screen with the logo is all I get.
Got a new battery. Didn't help.
I followed the instructions to re-format.
WMP says I now have 15MB of memory left. (Dude! Where did my GBits go??)
My problem is I can't even get past the white screen to see if the battery is charged.

Any help you can give me is appreciated.
Please send links that can help.

THANK YOU!

A 16MB drive (assuming thats what you had) means you're in recovery mode. Do not copy or remove anything in this mode except what is explicitly mentioned in that guide or you will break your player much worse.

OK, this thing has me going in circles.
I did the recovery. Loaded the pp5022.mi4 file.
Disconnected the e250R.
Said upgrade complete.
Turned it back on, but instead of getting the menu, I got.
"Load main image failed. Switch to Recovery mode."
I did that already!
Now what??

1, be surepositive you have an e250R, not e250. Then, just do what it says, it may take a couple shots. I don't know why, but that was my experience with my e260.
