Default Max video size and resolution

Hi. I can't play any vids bigger than 100 mb on my J3, although other threads on this forum suggest that larger, higher resolution files will play. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks.

That sounds very odd. J3 should in theory support video files up to 4GB due to its FAT formatting. I have video files which all are over 0,5GB big so it sounds rather odd to me that you can't play files larger than 0,1GB video at all. It would help a lot if you gave a bit more information related to:

- What kind of video files you are trying to play: File Format, Codec, etc.
- What firmware version of the Cowon J3 you are using

Regards,
Urne

Urne, it looks like the problem was resolution, not file size. I have now played larger files, as long as they were within about 800 x 600 pixels. Using Xanthurum's presets for Xvid4PSP was the key.
