Texting on Zune HD

Don't know if you guys know how to do t, but the way I do it is through Gmail. I text my friends while at home, it's rather simple, you only need to know your friends carrier and then add something to their number at the end, for example if my friend has at&t It would be 2647271189@txt.att.net

Once you know your friends carrier, simply find the text you need to add at the end here:
