Yeah, it was a refurb so that might have something to do with it. But the screen looks just as you described when I run the e200tool, at least as far as I can remember. It came up as c200 when I was verifying that it was connected through the usb port with the lsusb command. Its my dads device and hes not too worried about fixing it. I just wanted to know if there was some other easy fix I hadnt found yet, but that doesnt seem to be the case. Thanks for the replies though.
