Hello guys.

I found this thread after a while of google searching, and it seems to mirror my problem exactly.

I just got the HJE900s three days ago, and what a beautiful three days they were. I absolutely loved the SQ these things provide. I've been taking EXCEPTIONALLY good care of them as well.

Today one of the drivers just stops working. I did the cord switch thing and I'm certain that one of the drivers failed...

What can I do here? I'm guess dealing with panasonic is a dead end.
Does anybody have a working HJE900 driver they'd be willing to sell me?

I'm feeling really disappointed and ripped off right now.
I had a taste of these wonderful phones and don't want to go back

Yes I have a Para you can have I tell people this time and time again do not get anything in the vents. I've had two Para go mute on me and no amount of Vacuum Cleaning, drying out, or air works. When it's dead it's dead. Just let me know.

Well, it sounds like you're within three months of your purchase, so call them. Their issue with me was that it wasn't in their three month warranty (EVEN THOUGH THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A YEAR!). Though, they won't be able to replace it, it's discontinued. I don't know what they'll do about it, but I'm guessing they should be able to make reparations in some way (monetarily, probably).

Much luck,

I bought them used unfortunately.
Only confident in doing so because they were described as indestructible.
Jokes on me I guess.

Why were these discontinued anyway?
They seem like such a great deal.

Ah. I see the dilemma. I'm sorry to hear that. I too am surprised and disappointed that they were discontinued. I loved them so very dearly.

Hopefully a new model is coming out I highly doubt Panasonic was the brains behind it but then who knows.
